Like most sports photography, some curling tips are to make photos with a telephoto 300mm+ lens, normal 50mm lens and wide 16mm lens.  Lay on your stomach for a dramatic low angle.  Make photos of peak action and reaction.  Climb the bleachers for a higher vantage point. Consider backgrounds, foregrounds, exposure, lighting, venue and crowd.
